Solsma Show Steers

Hereford Division

    We started with our first Hereford in 2000. We bought part interest in JH Fiona, a Fortress daughter owned by Purple Reign Cattle Company. She is in the blood line of many national champions and we have many daughters in our herd. In 2006 we bought some heifers from Rausch Herefords in SD and they have been a nice addition to our herd as well.

    Our 2008 Hereford calves are exciting. We have some full siblings to Mary Jane, Junior Champion at the Royal and many other shows. Others sires include Reload, Manhattan, Kilo, our awesome heifer bull Mac (a Starbuck "Tank" son), and Spirit, a Get Her Done son.

    Our future goals are to raise club calf Herefords with mass, muscle, and bone that will compete in the show ring.
